Vineyard garden

Mauzac, Loin de l’œil, Braucol… The first step of your journey will make you discover the origins, the characteristics and the tasting potential that each grape variety brings to Gaillac wines.

You will observe the century old vines cut in gobelet, an ancestral method that consists in cutting the vines in four branches attached to one main branch. This allow to distribute the grapes and make the circulation of air easier between them.

Wine making cellar

Only part of the guided tour, this space offer a unique and new video treatment, that will make you discover the particular universe of viticulture and vinification. Maison Labastide will take you behind-the-scenes, to help you with the know-how and secrets of production of its so emblematic wines.

Interactivity is our key word: your tour guide will offer you to choose between different videos depending on your questions and expectations. Be prepared to discover the Gaillac vineyard as you never saw it before !

Bottling line

After passing through the outer platform, you will enter the most recent building of the cellar: the bottling line. A visiting platform has been built overlooking the production line, as close as possible to the operators.

Live this experience at your own pace: with you tour guide or using the information panels provided, follow the bottles all the way. Discover our virtual chain, exclusive equipment that will immerse you at the heart of the bottling line.

Barrel cellar

Emotional, sensitive, visual… This last step will leave you with a vivid memory of your visit. In a space full of subtle aromas of wood, but also bathed with a soft and dim light, the cellar is partially occupied by wood barrels, making it a very particular place.  

An exceptional sound system with widescreens will show you the evolution of the vine through the seasons. We will explain you the ageing process, last step of the wine production, in this place, but also the materials, the techniques and the jobs related to it. This sound and light show is a true invite to a journey.

Tasting time

Conviviality is an essential value for Maison Labastide, that is why we want to offer you a private tasting organized by your tour guide. He will offer you a selection of wine in order to make you discover all the richness and typicity of the Labastide wines.

This will also be the opportunity to share your impressions and thoughts about the « Legendary Tour ».

The shop

Discover and taste the diversity of the Gaillac appellation through the wines of Labastide. Also discover the product of Tarn terroir, such as the “croquants de Cordes”, the lentils from La Vère or Tarn saffron.
